Another busy October in the books. In addition to our regular council work sessions and meetings this month, I had a Sierra Vista Metropolitan Planning Organization (SVMPO) Board of Directors meeting on October 27th, during which I was elected Vice Chair of the SVMPO. The SVMPO is the designated transportation organization for the southeastern Cochise County region, in Arizona. The MPO is the policy and planning agency serving the Sierra Vista, Huachuca City, and portions of urbanizing Cochise County, in partnership with the Arizona Department of Transportation. Our next meeting is scheduled for February 23, 2022 @ 2:30 pm.
