📬I received my early ballot this weekend, and for the first time, I saw my name on the Official Ballot for the General Election, and I cannot lie, the feeling is indescribable. I think it's a mix of joy, excitement, anticipation, but most of all gratitude to all of you for your support on the campaign, to the people that have taught me as I explored more and more about our city and its politics, and most of all to my family who have been my rock through this whole campaign.
Thank you all!
✍️Tip for early voters: When you mark your ballot, do not use a gel pen as that kind of ink might bleed through the paper. Also, be sure to sign the yellow Ballot Affidavit before putting it in the green envelope for mailing.
We are all out of signs! I initially thought 106 signs plus 2 banners would be more than
enough, but I was wrong. Which is great, but it means that instead of saving some signs for the big day, I decided to give them all out. If you have a sign and don't mind me swiping it the night of Nov. 5th, drop me a line at email@example.com. If you already agreed to have me pick up your yard sign that night, thank you!
In the meantime, I'm going to continue to canvass as much as I can, continue to attend events, spend time with and learn from our community. Which really is my favorite part of this whole campaigning process.☺️
With only 19 days left until the big day, I would like to thank all of you again and reiterate that on day one, I am #ready2work4u!
